What the connection does

brepo is a brand repo: your brand gathered in cards with voice, messaging, facts, rules, tasks and approved assets. The connection is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol) that lets your AI tools read the brand when someone asks them to write something. The tool receives one text with what applies to that specific task and follows it.

What you need

A brepo account with access to at least one brand. Use your work email. If your company already has a brand in brepo, you get access as soon as your email is confirmed. If you do not have a brand yet, you can sign up for early access.

Connect your AI tools

Each person connects once, in their own tool, and chooses the brand when they sign in. The address is also shown in the app under Connect to AI.

Claude

Open Settings, then Connectors. Choose Add custom connector, paste the address and choose Connect. Sign in and pick your brand.

ChatGPT

Open Settings, then Apps. Turn on developer mode, create an app with the address and choose sign-in with OAuth. Sign in and pick your brand.

Cursor and VS Code

Open Connect to AI in brepo and choose Add to Cursor or Add to VS Code.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http brepo https://app.brepo.ai/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.

Other tools

Any AI tool that can add a remote connection with sign-in can use the address above.

What the tool can access

When you sign in, brepo asks whether you want to give the tool access to your brand, and you choose which brand. The tool can read voice, facts, rules, tasks and approved assets. It cannot change anything in brepo.

Tools in the connection

The connection has two tools. Both are read only.

`get_brand_context`

Returns one text with the brand's voice, facts, rules, approved assets and the format for the task. The AI tool should follow the text and never add facts, numbers or quotes that are not in it.

task: What is being written: a task name or id, or a few words
channel: Where it will be published, for example linkedin, email or web
language: The language of the text: sv or en

`search_assets`

Finds approved logos, images and other files. Only assets the brand owns or has licensed are returned. Each result has a link that works for 7 days, alt text and usage notes.

query: Words matched against the asset's title, description and tags. Empty lists everything.
kind: logo, image, graphic, video, font, document or other

See exactly what your AI receives

In the app under What your AI sees you see the exact text an AI tool receives for each task. Change a card and the text changes with it.

Usage and logging

Under Usage you see who uses the brand, from which tool and when. For every request brepo stores who, which AI tool, which function and which settings, the brand version and which cards were returned. Drafts and texts the AI tool writes are not stored in brepo.

Disconnect

Open Connect to AI in brepo and choose Disconnect. That tool can then no longer read your brand. You can also remove the connection in the AI tool's own settings. A connection that is not used for 90 days expires on its own. Just connect the tool again.
